NEUI400（Ⅰ）high energy efficiency aluminum reduction pot technology developed by NEUI and Henan Henan Zhongfu Industrial Co., Ltd. has been successfully applied in Zhongfu aluminum smelter’s technical innovation demonstration project, which was put into production in August, 2008. Its main technical performances (i.e. current efficiency of 95.2%, DC consumption of 12631kWh/t and power saving of 569 kWh/t ) on energy saving and environmental protection has achieved world advanced class, which has created a successful operation precedent for 400kA high amperage aluminum reduction pot technology.
