The precursor of the Northeastern University Engineering & Research Institute Co., Ltd (abbreviated to NEUI) was the “Engineering Department of Northeastern University” which was established at the end of 1981. In January, 1994, based on the Engineering Department, Northeastern University Engineering & Research Institute was formed. In April, 2004, with the Northeastern University, China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd.
